  • At Cleco, we’ve fostered relationships with several regional and parish-level economic development corporations, including One Arcadia, Louisiana -Central, Tangipahoa, St. Tammany Corporation, GNO Inc. and Cleco’s state economic development partner, LED — giving us a bird’s eye view of business opportunities across the state.

  • Starting a business can be challenging, but Cleco is dedicated to creating a vibrant economy that is inclusive of Louisiana’s diverse communities. By partnering with state-sponsored Louisiana Economic Development (LED), Cleco can get businesses connected to the Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) Program and assist with securing financial assistance through the Small Business Loan and Guaranty Program.

  • The Cleco Alternative Energy Center is an $8 million facility on the campus of University of Louisiana Lafayette, bringing clean, sustainable and affordable energy solutions to Louisiana businesses. Through Cleco’s planned Project Diamond Vault, our existing Madison 3 plant will be retrofitted to reduce up to 95% of its carbon dioxide emissions through carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology.
