By partnering with state-sponsored Louisiana Economic Development (LED), Cleco can get businesses connected to the Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) Program and assist with securing financial assistance through the Small Business Loan and Guaranty Program.

The Cleco Alternative Energy Center is an $8 million facility on the campus of University of Louisiana Lafayette, bringing clean, sustainable and affordable energy solutions to Louisiana businesses. Through Cleco’s planned Project Diamond Vault, our existing Madison 3 plant will be retrofitted to reduce up to 95% of its carbon dioxide emissions through carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology.
